We are here to help people love and worship God. We aim to be, and encourage others to become, committed and active disciples of Jesus,
who love God and worship him, who know the power of the Holy Spirit and who show God’s love in every part of their lives.
Our celebrations begin this year on Sunday 30th November, Advent Sunday, with our service of Advent Carols and Readings at 10am. That evening at 6.30pm there will be a Contemplative Eucharist.
On Monday 1st December at 10am we welcome a class from Woolly Wood Primary School into Church.
On Tuesday 2nd December at 2.40pm Tim will be taking an Assembly at Ecclesfield Primary School.
On Wednesday 3rd December 10am in Church, Funeral, and at 6pm The Seeking Heart, Contemplative Prayer & Meditation for all.
Thursday 4th December, 9.30am Mid-week Communion, 10.30am visit to Nightingale Nursing Home, and at 2.30pm Assembly at Ecclesfield Primary School.
Sunday 7th December, 10am Eucharist on the Second Sunday in Advent; 4pm Christingle in Church.
Monday 8th December, 2pm in Church, meeting to plan services and hymns for January & February.
Tuesday 9th December 2pm Bible Study Group, venue TBC.
Saturday 13th December 9am Prayer Breakfast followed at 10.30am by Bereavement Cafe, in Church.
Sunday 14th December, Third Sunday in Advent, 10am Prayer & Praise, 4pm Community Carols round the Tree.
Wednesday 17th December 6pm in Church The Seeking Heart, Contemplative Prayer & Meditation for all.
Sunday 21st December, the Fourth Sunday of Advent, 10am Eucharist, 6.30pm Evening Worship on the Longest Night.
Mon 22nd December, Local Ecclesfield Carols. We meet in the Churchyard at 7pm and will move in to Church at about 7.40pm.
Wednesday 24th December, Christmas Eve. 4pm Crib Service; 6.30pm Nine Lessons and Carols by Candlelight.
Thursday 25th December, Christmas Day. 10am Christmas Eucharist.
Sunday 28th December, the First Sunday of Christmas,10am Eucharist; 6.30pm Evening Worship.
Please Note - there will NOT be a mid-week Eucharist on Thursday 1st January.
