St Mary's Prayer for the future
Surely I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord,plans for your welfare and not for harm, to give you a future with hope. Then when you call upon me and come and pray to me, I will hear you. (Jeremiah 29:11-12)
Heavenly Father,thank you for the Christian community that you have sustained in Ecclesfield over the centuries.Thank you for those who helped us to grow in faith.Help us to trust that You have a plan and purpose for St Mary's future.
Guide us as we go forward to the future that you call us to. Give us your vision for the mission of Your Church.Help us to be faithful witnesses of your grace and love to all who do not know you. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Saviour.
